About Us

Awaken Aware is one of the Northwest’s premier Hypnotheraputic clinics and is the brainchild of certified Hypnotherapist and Registered Nurse Karen Louise.

Karen’s specialized training, experience, and passionate interest in holistic healing led her to develop Balanced Living Strategies. Together with her clients, Karen uses Toxic Thought Inquiry and Meditative Relaxation Technique , in conjunction with Hypnosis and Support Coaching, to outline a new strategy for clients to achieve lasting change.

In addition to long-term weight loss management (see Triad Weight Loss Management), Karen specializes in smoking cessation, chronic pain management, help with addiction, phobias and compulsive behaviours, and help getting rid of insomnia. In addition to her private practice, Karen teaches classes and workshops at various venues and businesses.
